The examination was conducted on April 26 this year by Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) to fill the 18,000 vacancies of assistant teachers in primary and secondary level government schools in the state. As many as 65,439 candidates qualified in the examination.

As many as 74,658 aspirants appeared for the post of assistant teachers in primary schools of which only 22,311 qualified. Of the qualified aspirants 17,564 were male and 4,747 female.

Of these 22,311 qualified candidates, 16.69% belong to general category, 8.12% scheduled cast (SC), 15.96% scheduled tribe (ST), 37.04% backward class (BC) and 22.19% most backward class (MBC).

The government will release a roster for the candidates for recruitment in government schools. An employee of HRD department said, "The teachers will be selected on the basis of their performance in the TET as well as in matriculation, intermediate and graduation."

At most of the places, Formula adopted for recruitment of Teachers is -
Weightage of TET Marks + Weightage of Acadmic Qualification Marks ,
And it doesn't violate NCTE Guidelines

  5. Hello friends.....
i have a doubt...will the recruitment will take place in a normal way? Last year 8042 candidate's had cleared the tet exam but becoz of some candidate's who did not qualify the tet exam went to court and the entire process of the recruitment was stoped by the court and even the government did not take any proper action and even the court did not thought about those candidates who worked hard and cleared the exam court could hv retained those candidates....i heard that some of the candidates were so frustrated that they even suicide it was so horrible friends.......i hope this this time such things don't take place may god help u all and hope things go better....
1.govt ish bar sare kam court ki nigrani me kam kare taki aage koi problem na ho.

2.govt ko jilawar aaplication mangwana chahiye.

3.ek candidate ek hi jila se apply jare sarkar ko aisi bewastha banani chahiye.

4.application form speed post aur registry ke through hi mangeabe chahiye.

5.taki candidate ko pareshani na hoo aur application forms ka bhandar na bane.

6.all the application forms should be invited through speed post and registry only.........agree friends......may gid bless u all

  6. Dear friends.....some people are protesting to make changes in the notification released by JAC friends dar lag raha ki sarkar ish bar bhi koi change na kar de aur mamla court pahuch jaye aur pura recruitment process dismiss ho jaye..........bhagwan aisa na kare i request Jac and the government. Of Jharkhand not to repeate the same mistake.........ab koi change na kia jayee aur joining me puri transparency rakhi jaye..........speed post par gambhirta se vichar kia jaye

plz ab koi change na kia jaye aur rk candidate se ek hi application form invite kia jaye.........it will be better for the candidates as well as JAC.
